How to be creative with a nude pump, that’s not easy. A nude pump is especially for women with short legs a great invention as it lengthen the leg. Unfortunately that illusion is a bit lost with these Giuseppe Zanotti Snakeskin Patchwork platofrm pumps. But you get some great eyecatchers back!
The nude pump is next to the black pump a shoe which will always be there. Being creative with it can be quite a challenge for a designer. Nicholas Kirkwood tried to be creative with a nude pump: The Snakeskin platform. Did Nicholas succeed? Well, for the general part yes. The 5¼ inch (13 cm) high heel with snakeskin print is gorgeous. The 1 inch (2,5 cm) platform however is in my opinion not so gorgeous. It looks like you’ve ran into a very large piece of chewing gum on the street.
I’m not going to classify this one as a shoe crime. But I’ll a keep a close watch on next designs.
When you’re not sure if animal print is something for you, this Hale Bob Westridge peep toe pump might be a nice alternative. This black shoe has beige snake leather inserts at the heel and the toe. Not too much, just to spice up the shoe. With its 4¼ inch (11 cm) stiletto heel and 1 inch (2.5 cm) platform this is a very trendy peep toe dress pump. Available at heels.com for a nice discount price of $64.99.
