Looking out of the window I would think summer is finally coming. Looking at the temperature, it’s not that so much summer unfortunately. Being prepared for summer is definetly necessary. These Chinese Laundry 5 stars sandals are for sure helpfull. Very sexy shoe with it’s snake print straps, faux stones and jewels on the t-strap, 5 inch (12,5 cm) high heel and ¾ inch (2 cm) platform. This shoe deserves it’s name and would get a 5 star rating from me.

The spring collection of United Nude™ brought this Cup Pump to my attention. A classic slingback pump with a cup added to the heel which also acts as a backpiece. The pump is available in four colors: This snake print (beige mix), black mix, baby pink and green. The heel is 4.5 inch (11 cm) high.

How to be creative with a nude pump, that’s not easy. A nude pump is especially for women with short legs a great invention as it lengthen the leg. Unfortunately that illusion is a bit lost with these Giuseppe Zanotti Snakeskin Patchwork platofrm pumps. But you get some great eyecatchers back!

The nude pump is next to the black pump a shoe which will always be there. Being creative with it can be quite a challenge for a designer. Nicholas Kirkwood tried to be creative with a nude pump: The Snakeskin platform. Did Nicholas succeed? Well, for the general part yes. The 5¼ inch (13 cm) high heel with snakeskin print is gorgeous. The 1 inch (2,5 cm) platform however is in my opinion not so gorgeous. It looks like you’ve ran into a very large piece of chewing gum on the street.

I’m not going to classify this one as a shoe crime. But I’ll a keep a close watch on next designs.
