Spring is in the air! Well, at least according to this Sergio Rossi Suede Chic slingback pump. Not for the weather outside unfortunately. Maybe this very colorfull pump with it’s 4 inch (10 cm) heel will challenge the sun to shine brightly and warm the day.
I’ve been bashing Sergio Rossi for a couple of times by ranking the shoes as a shoe crime. This might look like Sergio Rossi is not able to design any decent shoe. That’s absolutely not true. First of all, it’s my own opinion and second, here I have a very nice example of a beautyfull Sergio Rossi shoe.
This peep toe court shoe has silver tone pleated satin as it’s upper material which gives it a very special look. The 4¾ inch (12 cm) black heel completes the image. Combined with black opaque tights this is a great shoe for fall.
Sergio Rossi has made a shoe crime again. It looks like the do something terrible to the heel period is not over yet. Actually, it was Francesco Russo, apparently a new designer of the brand, who did this. He gave -quoting his own words- his own contemporary interpretation, whilst respecting the Sergio Rossi brand identity.
Well mister Russo, you did pass by respecting the Sergio Rossi shoe crime.
Is this starting to become a trend? Being creative with heels. The first time I saw some designer (don’t know which one anymore) was creative with the heel, my thoughts were quite positive. Now, when every designer seems to do something creative with the heel, it’s getting a bit annoying.
Latest addition I bumped into is from Sergio Rossi. A spiral heel sandal. Looks to me something very bad happened to the heel when you wear these sandals. If you are ever able to walk on these. Looks very unpractical. In my opinion this screams for a shoe crime.
Net-A-Porter has started the end-of-season sale a few days ago. I came across this great Sergio Rossie Eel pump. Now for only € 395.
