Only just a few days ago I posted a blog about heels lighting up. Well, Jimmy Choo has incorporated the idea already in the sky high 5.1 inch (13 cm) heel of the upcoming Zap sandal. With it’s neon colors and trendy platform it’s all eighties again.

The price however is also sky high: € 1745!

Why does this kind of designs pop up every season? It brings confusion. Is it a sandal? Is it a boot? Is it a boot pretending to be sandal? Or is it a sandal pretending to be a boot? Too many questions for such a thing. It’s not worth it.

Could it go worse than boots prentending to be shoes? I didn’t thought so. Girl, I was so wrong! Gianni Barbato just made it worse. A thigh high boot pretending to be a sandal(!?!?). And that’s just for a starter. I won’t even talk about the perforated shaft.

Maybe prostitutes will wear it on hot days. But I don’t think a prostitute would pay € 638 for such a shoe crime.

With the sale coming to an end, the new collection comes in. That also means most of the time a peak in shoe crimes. These Chloé Canvas Sandals are no exception. A sandal with a canvas cover. That cover looks like some kind of eco bag. Why would you ever wear a sandal which covers your ankles? Maybe when you have cankles. But then I think you’ll better wear a pair of boots, at least ankle boots.

Last Friday Christian Louboutin has released the Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Bright colors, animal prints, extermely high heels, platforms, but also flats are the most eyecatching ones.
