Last week I was in New York City for work (that’s one of the reasons there were no blogposts). Of course I had to take an opportunity to go shoe shopping. One of the first shoes I hit into were these gorgeous Nine West Masqurede peep toe pumps. The shoe has a 4 inch (10 cm) stiletto heel and a nice colorfull pattern print. A great shoe for spring / summer.

By the way, if you wonder why I never mentioned Nine West before. It’s because the Nine West webshop does not ship outside of the US. Pretty bad for us Europeans. But a great excuse to go to New York sometimes.

I’m always a bit carefull when I see a shoe with perspex used. If you ignore the perspex part of this Prada court shoe, you see quite an interesting and elegant shoe. But the perspex heel disturbs everything in my opinion. It too chunky. Maybe if it was just a 4 inch stiletto heel it might would have worked out.

A black peep toe dress pump. An item every woman should have in her closet. Giuseppe Zanotti made some great changes to this essential item. These Giuseppe Zanotti Bullet dress pumps with 4¼ inch (11 cm) high heel and small platform are made of canvas. And now comes the fun part. Take a look at the side. Do I really need a pair of glasses now? I’ve got a double vision here which gives me a headache. Focussing a bit better, now I see it. It’s this Gianmarco Lorenzi Double platform shoe which has a double platform, hence the name.

Adding the extra platform layer makes this shoe having a very high platform of 1½ inch (3,5 cm). What a pity, without the double platform this might be a very nice shoe.
