Or a Louboutin, Alexander McQueen, Dior, etc…
You know, I love shoes very much. I am a huge fan of Jimmy Choo, despite the recent couple of not-so-wonderfull shoe ideas. Other great designers like Louboutin and Alexander McQueen have of course also designed a huge collection of beauties. But, like most women, my budget does not allow me to just buy every designer shoe I want. Still, I would love, like most women, to have a pair of Louboutins on my feet. So, how can that be arranged? Renting the shoes might be a good answer to that question.
The idea is not new. After nine months however, it seems LXP did not really expand the collection. Cinderella-Me starts with a much bigger and richer collection. I admit it’s not having the shoes, but it comes quite close. A big concern would be smell and hygiene. But they have thought about that. Every shoe is blasted with bacteria-killing UV light and steam before sent out to the customer.
Too bad, it seems they don’t ship international. If they did, I probably would have tried it out. Would you?

I did already tweeted this. But is this scary or what? Jimmy Choo and Ugg have teamed up on a limited edition collection of five different styles to be released in October of this year. The boots will be available exclusive at Jimmy Choo and Ugg stores in a price range of € 450 – € 600. That’s a lot of money!
I’m wondering how this will turn out. Let’s just wait for (leaked) photo’s.
Just the same as the Hale Bob Westridge pumps I wrote about a couple of days ago: “When you’re not sure animal print is something for you, this might be a nice alternative“.
The Jimmy Choo Nicci peep toe pump has a small panel with a zebra print. But there is more. A silver glitter panel around the toe and a metallic fuchsia zig-zag pattern at the heel. The heelheight measures 4 inch (10 cm).
Too bad this one is not part of the upcoming H&M collection next Saturday. You can get it at Net-A-Porter for €585.
The online competition is over. Yesterday evening project PEP was launched at Selfridres which includes a limited edition collection of Jimmy Choo scarfs, bags and -of course- shoes. For 72 hours the collection is exclusively sold by Selfridges. Starting November 2 the collection is also made available in the UK Jimmy Choo stores. Jimmy Choo will donate 25% of the net sales from Project PEP to the Elton John Aids Foundation.
Here are the shoes from the PEP collection.
H&M has released a video at YouTube featuring the Jimmy Choo collection. The video does show besides some shoes also dresses, belts, bags and other accessories.
