Please, don’t tell me this is serious. This DSquared Calf and Nylon Boot is a hiking shoe with a 1¼ inch (3 cm) platform and a 5 inch (13 cm) high heel. I won’t do any hiking with these boots tho. I don’t even think a hiker would pay € 813 for a pair of hiking boots.
They do it on purpose. Really, I mean it. These Luichiny Annabel Coffee is another example of a boot pretending to be a shoe. Haven’t we seen enough of these ugly creatures? Come on you great designers, try to design something new. If possible please, something beautifull.
With the sale coming to an end, the new collection comes in. That also means most of the time a peak in shoe crimes. These Chloé Canvas Sandals are no exception. A sandal with a canvas cover. That cover looks like some kind of eco bag. Why would you ever wear a sandal which covers your ankles? Maybe when you have cankles. But then I think you’ll better wear a pair of boots, at least ankle boots.
This one is not a shoe for the winter season. But you always have to be prepared for the first sunny shining ice and snowfree (spring) day with a bit higher temperatures. This Hale Bob Wallis funky ankle boot features a 4 inch (10 cm) high heel, a contrasting croc print at the toe and also some croc print with teardrop cut-outs at the shaft. A zipper is placed at the heel for easy slide in and out.
When I first saw this Beatrix ONG boots, I thought it’s another shoes with socks shoe crime. Looking a little bit more closely, I saw it. It are boots which pretends to be shoes. The color of the leg doesn’t help either. Looks a bit artificial to me. Who wants to wear that?
