This one is not a shoe for the winter season. But you always have to be prepared for the first sunny shining ice and snowfree (spring) day with a bit higher temperatures. This Hale Bob Wallis funky ankle boot features a 4 inch (10 cm) high heel, a contrasting croc print at the toe and also some croc print with teardrop cut-outs at the shaft. A zipper is placed at the heel for easy slide in and out.

I’m not a big fan of ankle boots with a peep toe. The straps around the ankle are quite nice on this Antoinette Ankle Boot. But what is that at both sides of this boot? It looks like vent holes! It does almost remind me of Crocs. This tends to be a shoe crime. But I’m in a good mood today. If you like it, the boots are available at Topshop in black, brown and nude.

At first sight these Moschino Ankle boot doesn’t look bad at all, don’t you think? Cute zipper and a nice 4 inch (10 cm) heel.

So why did I put it in the Shoe crime category? Well, the reason becomes quite clear I think when you see the other side of this shoe. I’ve got nothing more to say (write) about this.

With fall knocking at the door and the weather is getting colder, it’s boots time again. Ankleboots are very trendy at the moment. A beautifull example are these Alexander McQueen Button-trim boots.

The boots are made of black leather with a 5 inch (12,5 cm) high stiletto heel and a hidden 1 inch (2,5) cm platform. Because of the platform, it makes this boot very walkable. Very nice details are the buttons and the fold over. But there is more: Finishing touch is the toe with a small silver square.

I’m not sure what the designer of these Apple Bottoms Women’s Skylar shoes had in mind. But I guess it didn’t work out. It looks like the designer could not decide if it is going to be a pump or an ankleboot. Worst is the red sole, trying to pretend it’s a Louboutin.
