Archive for December, 2009
The year 2009 has almost come to an end. It’s time to look further into the new year 2010. New shoes, new trends will come. Let’s see what the fashion industry will bring us.
For now I’m signing of for this year. See you all at the other side. Have a very nice and happy 2010!
The shoe brand Gweneth Shoes is suing Paris Hilton for trademark and patent infringement by her shoe line. Gweneth claims the heart shaped cushion in the sole of the shoe is an idea they came up with in 2007, months (years!) before Paris launches her line in February 2009 launch of her line. The company, that has nothing to do with Gweneth Paltrow, want all of the thousands of shoes baring the styling handed over to them.
Well, I must say, looking at the pictures of shoes by Paris Hilton and one by Gweneth, there is some similarity. I’m quite curious what’s going to happen. Seems like Paris is not going to have a good start in 2010.
This Alexander McQueen Iridescent Pump is a hot one. Great for the upcoming New Years Eve party with all the colors that will shine through the anthracite patent leather upper material. With it’s round toe, 4 inch (10 cm) high heel and ½ inch (1 cm) concealed platoform this is a quite easy pump to dance all night away.
Available for a discount price in a few sizes at the Outnet.
It ‘s been a year ago I started this blog. So, I think it’s time -also in the light of the holiday season- to thank and credit some people.
First of all an enormous big thanks to J. You rock! Every time you make sure I’m able to post new articles, including cleaning up the mess I sometimes make of drafts. Kisses to my loving partner C. who always supports and encourages me. Thanks to all the people who gave me tips for articles and left comments. It’s always nice to see participation, much appreciated! Keep it going! Last but not least I want to give a big thanks to all the readers of this blog. The continueing growing amount of unique and returning vistitors to this site is a huge motivation to keep going.
Merry Xmas everybody!
I’m not sure about this Finsk Woven Heels. It looks a bit like some kind of an Ecologic Environmental Responsibility shoe to me. Just for the record: There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s even a nice model tho! The handmade wooden heel doesn’t actually help either. It also reminds me of the same way (cheap) baskets are made. I don’t think you can compare these shoes with a basket. The material used for the shoes is definitely not the same as used for baskets.
If you like the shoes, they can be yours via FarFetch for € 394.
