The online competition is over. Yesterday evening project PEP was launched at Selfridres which includes a limited edition collection of Jimmy Choo scarfs, bags and -of course- shoes. For 72 hours the collection is exclusively sold by Selfridges. Starting November 2 the collection is also made available in the UK Jimmy Choo stores. Jimmy Choo will donate 25% of the net sales from Project PEP to the Elton John Aids Foundation.

Here are the shoes from the PEP collection.

I’m not sure about this shoe. I like the shiny ankle strap which makes it a nice party shoe. Also looking at the model of the shoe with it’s round toe there is nothing wrong with it. It’s the model of the platform which does me think about another shoe, the Runway by Alexander McQueen. And that’s exactly where that shoe should stay: At the runway. Running away from it might be another good option.

So, this one is not for me. If you like it, it can be ordered at Asos for £ 120.

Faith Cadust StudIf you’re looking for a trendy black dress pump, don’t look any further. You’ve just found the Faith Cadust Stud pump. A black dress peep-toe pump with a 4 inch (10 cm) high heel and a small 1 inch (2,5 cm) platform. The overall studs makes this a very stylish and outstanding shoe.

Chanel clogsThe early 90′s are back, but not in a fashionable way. Chanel and Louis Vuitton are bringing back the wooden clogs with high heels. And that’s not the first time. The first wooden clogs with high heels could be seen in the 70′s. Why don’t some people learn from the past, even after the terrible Croc-period.

If you’ve ever tried before to walk in these monsters, you probably know it’s almost impossible. You have to be carefull the clog does not slip of your feet. Because of the wooden heel and platform the clog is clumsy and uncomfortable due to the lack of any shock absorption.

Let’s hope this trend will be over very soon or -better- not even become a trend.
