Yep, that’s how it’s called: Heelskinz. This is the first part of the today’s press release.
Heelskinz, LLP announced today that they have developed a unique product for the women’s shoe industry; Heelskinz™ High Heel Shoe Protector. The shoe accessory will help to solve a costly problem where the backs and heels of women’s shoes are damaged as they rub against carpet and floor mats while driving a vehicle. Because women invest a large amount of money on shoes, it is logical that women will want to protect them.
This is not new. I’ve seen similar heel protectors and none of them work. Well, they do protect the heel, but can also give very risky situations when for whatever reason the heel loses the protector. I wouldn’t spent $20 on it.

I purchased one and it works just fine. It contours to your shoe and it’s cute too. It has crystals around the band. I keep it on and get asked where I purchased it. It was well worth $20 to keep from tearing the back of all my shoes.
