Bosses at the leading international legal firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer have advised female lawyers to wear high heels with skirts rather than trousers to embrace their femininity. Women working for the firm have also been warned against wearing necklaces as they could draw undue attention to the bustline.

The advices have come from the image consultants hired by the company to draw up the sartorial guidelines in a bid to smarten up staff.
