Without knowing what a Spare Spike is, I though it might be some kind of emergency repair kit for (spike) heels. Maybe you do remember the Sparesoles which are actually an emergency pair of shoes. But no, it’s something completely different. It are spikes to put under your shoes to help you walk on icy surfaces more securely. Karen Roges from a local TV station in Philadelphia, PA  tried it with 3 inch (7,5 cm) high heels.

Believe it or not, it helped more or less. However, I still don’t recommend to walk high heeled (with or without the spikes) on icy surfaces. Not only because it doesn’t look very attractive when you have the spare spike around your shoes. It’s also still a bit scary according to the video. Maybe just for emergency…

With the sale coming to an end, the new collection comes in. That also means most of the time a peak in shoe crimes. These Chloé Canvas Sandals are no exception. A sandal with a canvas cover. That cover looks like some kind of eco bag. Why would you ever wear a sandal which covers your ankles? Maybe when you have cankles. But then I think you’ll better wear a pair of boots, at least ankle boots.

Tim Cooper did it again. After a pair of Lamborghini Stiletto’s a year ago, he now designed a pair of Cop Car Stiletto’s.

What laws do I have to break to have a pair of these? No, I won’t wear them, just for display. Too bad it looks like it’s again a conceptual design. The shoes will not be for sale.

At first sight of these Valentino shoes I thought something very bad has happened to it. The designer must have left the shoes standing outside too long in the pouring rain. Of course you should never leave shoes outside in the rain. These particular shoes have started to grow… ehrr… something.

Another closer look revealed the mystery. It’s lace! Almost the whole shoe is made out of lace. Adding to all this the ridiculous price of € 4420, there can only be one verdict left for these shoes. This is definetly a shoe crime!

Pink is always a bit of a difficult color for a decent shoe. The color is quite quickly associated with strippers or prostitutes. Especially when the material is patent leather or any other glossy material. But when you have these Fendi Python Pumps on your feet, I’m very sure there won’t be any connection with a stripper or prostitute. The combination of pink and python print is a very nice one and makes it an outstanding shoe. Be sure to check out the 4 inch (10 cm) heel with the fancy Fendi logo printed on it.
